Rope - Polyester/Polypropylene Blend - Pot Sink (White)
This sinkable rope offers an ideal solution for commercial fishing pots and traps. Constructed from a 35% polypropylene and 65% polyester blend, it combines the lightweight nature of polypropylene with the strength and durability of polyester. With a specific gravity of -1.1, this rope sinks quickly, reducing the risk of entanglement with passing boats. It is manufactured in accordance with Australian Standard AS4142.2-1993 for consistent quality and reliability in marine environments.

Note: 3 strand polyester/polypropylene braided rope will stiffen over time when used in saltwater. For pre-installation and seasonal maintenance, we recommend soaking the rope in a bucket of fresh water and fabric softener overnight. This helps condition new rope and clean older rope of salt and debris, increasing longevity and minimising hardening.
