Premium quality quick connect single cable helm with a planetary gear system and non reaction mechanism for smoother and easier steering. The non reaction helm compensates for propeller torque by locking the helm shaft via a friction mechanism which is only released when the helmsman turns the wheel, ensuring the vessel remains on a straight course. Reduces helmsman fatigue. Suitable for outboard and sterndrives boats with engines up to 150HP and max wheel diameter of 400mm. The helm can be mounted at 90 or 20 degrees using the appropriate bezel kit, sold separately see below. Suitable for Multiflex steering cables and also suits Ultraflex and Seastar / Teleflex quick connect steering cables.
