About This Kit:

• These SeaDek kits first require a dry fit kit to verify the location, shape and curves of your boat, The kit will already come cut to the shape of your boat, however some modifications may be necessary to get the perfect fit.
• Why is the dry fit kit necessary? Well, in most cases each boat can have accessories installed in slightly different spots (i.e. rod holders, fuel filler caps, seat bases etc.)
• The dry fit kit supplied is made from a 1mm thick Mylar plastic, this is laid atop the surface and then using a sharpie you outline all the accessories that need to be cutout around as accurately as possible.
• Please note that once the machining stage of the SeaDek begins, no refunds can be made. This is due to the nature of the product being specifically custom made for your boat.

Process:

1. When you receive the dry fit kit, lay each piece in the correct area and tape down in place.
2. Use a sharpie to mark out all the accessories that need to be cut out around as accurately as you can. A video outlining the templating process is linked below:

3. Be sure to take lots of photos and email them to seadek@bluebottlemarine.com along with your name and order number.
4. Return the templates back to blue Bottle Marine for digitization.
5. Once digitization is complete a design will be submitted to you via email.
6. Upon approval of the design, your custom SeaDek kit will be machined and shipped out to you as soon as possible.
