Description
Airmar DT812 235kHz, 60W, Smart Sensor, Stainless with Valve - NMEA 0183, 12° Tilt, DT
The Airmar DT812 is a thru-hull, tilted element Smart Sensor that calculates depth and water temperature. It features embedded microelectronics in the housing so the signal is processed right inside the sensor, sending data directly to your display.
Features
- Sensor Type: Broadband depth and temperature Smart Sensor
- Tilt Angle: 12° (Compensates for 8° to 15° hull deadrise)
- Frequency: 235 kHz (prevents interference with typical 50/200 kHz fishfinders)
- Maximum Depth: Up to 183 m (600 ft)
- Housing Material: Rugged Stainless Steel (with water valve)
- Output: NMEA 2000 (The
DT812SV-235-0variant outputs NMEA 0183) - Beamwidth: 12°
- Hull Compatibility: Fits all hull materials; low-profile design minimizes drag and maintains accuracy at high speeds.
- Maintenance: Features a retractable insert and a self-closing water valve, minimizing water ingress when removing the sensor for cleaning.
