Enclosed in these beautiful, injection-moulded enclosures are our maximum-performance, oversized M6 8.8-inch coaxial tower speakers, delivering clean, loud audio that can be heard well beyond the boat when mounted up high.
The huge woofer cone area advantage offers greater efficiency and bass output, which is complemented by the clear, smooth sound of an oversized 1.25-inch silk dome tweeter. These enclosures feature a decorative, aluminium logo cap on the end opposite the speaker, which can be oriented to match any custom mounting application. Each is designed to mate with one of our mounting fixtures (sold separately, and available to fit a wide range of applications). The speaker cables exit through the centre of the fixtures, staying high and dry, and out of sight. The patent-pending Transflective™ RGB LED technology emits a smooth lighting effect through the woofer cone, with a choice of several lighting colours. Add an optional RGB controller to create thousands of colour variations. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
For best results, we recommend powering these systems with an amplifier in the 50-250 W per channel range.
Like all JL Audio marine speakers, this system is built to withstand a real saltwater marine environment and deliver years of listening enjoyment.
Production of all M6 loudspeakers takes place in JL Audio’s Miramar, Florida factory, using global components and materials.

| Additional | The enclosure recommendations listed above are external dimensions which assume the use of 19 mm (0.75″) thick material. If you are using 16 mm (0.625″) thick material, subtract 6.5 mm (0.25″) from each dimension. Do not use any material with a thickness of less than 16 mm (0.625″) as this may compromise the rigidity of the enclosure. All enclosure volumes listed above are net internal volumes. Driver displacement, port displacement and brace displacement must be added to obtain the final gross internal volume. All enclosure dimensions above have already taken this into account. When using multiples in a common enclosure you will need to recalculate the enclosure and port dimensions. For assistance please contact your authorised JL Audio dealer or JL Audio Technical Support. We recommend the use of this in a bi-amplified system using high-quality satellites and a high-quality amplifier. We do not recommend the use of this with a passive crossover (coil), as this type of device will adversely affect performance. |
