Norglass A1 Penetrating Timber Oil

Norglass A1 Penetrating Timber Oil is a premium timber oil designed to nourish timber while eradicating organic growth deep within the substrate. It contains biocides and UV inhibitors to protect and enhance the natural beauty of timber surfaces.

Coverage

8–10 square metres per litre, depending on timber porosity.

Application

Ensure timber is clean and dry before application. If timber is grey, use Norglass Grey-Away first. Further clean with Norclean-Plus using a paper towel. Stir contents thoroughly before use. Apply with a brush or short-nap roller (4mm mohair) 2–3 coats every 30 minutes on the same day. Do not thin. After 2 days, lightly sand with 240-grit sandpaper, clean with Norclean-Plus, and apply A2 finishing coat if required.

Drying & Recoating

Touch dry in 1 hour at 25°C and 50% humidity. Recoat 2–3 times every 30 minutes on the same day.

Precautions

Provide adequate ventilation during use. Keep away from naked flames and do not smoke. Avoid use in damp conditions or below 10°C. Wear protective clothing if necessary.

First Aid

If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; give water or milk. In case of eye contact, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and consult a doctor. For skin contact, wash thoroughly. If breathing difficulty arises, move to fresh air and apply artificial respiration if not breathing.
