Norglass Weatherfast Premium Enamel Gloss in Black
Norglass Weatherfast Premium Enamel Gloss in Black is a single pack, low odour, high gloss enamel designed with excellent weathering characteristics and long-term gloss retention, even in salt-laden environments. Suitable for timber, steel, aluminium, and concrete, this premium enamel is perfect for both exterior severe exposure and interior applications. Not recommended for areas of continuous immersion. For best performance, prime surfaces with the appropriate Norglass primer before finishing.

| Surface Preparation | New timber: Prime with Norseal (if required) and Pri-Coat, followed by 1–2 coats. New galvanised iron or aluminium: Pretreat with Norglass Metal-Etch. Previously painted surfaces: Clean with Norclean-Plus, remove unsound paint, sand with 280–360 grit. |
| Application Method | Stir well before use. Apply by brush, short nap roller, or spray. In hot weather, add max 5% Weatherfast Brushing Thinner. Spray: 25–33% Weatherfast Spraying Thinner. |
| Precautions | Provide ventilation. Flammable – keep away from flames/heat/sparks. Wear PPE when spraying. Not suitable for constant immersion. Yellows/oranges require uniform base coat for coverage. |
| First Aid | If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Drink water or milk. For eye contact, flush with water for 15 minutes and consult a doctor. For skin contact, wash thoroughly. If inhaled, move to fresh air and seek medical help if necessary. |
| Special Instructions | Do not apply below 10°C or in high humidity. Drying and gloss may be affected. Screen surfaces away from dew for at least 6 hours after application. |
