The RAP-S-NUT5 RAM Mount Pin-Lock Security Nut and Key for D and E Socket Arms helps to deter theft and tampering by adding an extra level of security to your RAM Mount. Once the Pin-Lock knob has been engaged, your arm cannot be adjusted or opened without the included security key.

For an extra tight grip, RAM recommends the RAM-KNOB9HU Hi-Torq wrench. For larger D size mounting solutions, RAM® utilizes a larger knob that offers the ideal amount of leverage to properly tighten your mount to prevent slippage in heavy chop or in extreme vibration environments. Use the cold weather wrench to tighten the mount for optimal performance. Aftermarket locking knobs are not capable of tightening the RAM® Mount to the required tension to perform in high vibration applications. The addition of an aftermarket knob will make the mount not compatible with the cold weather wrench and will not be able to tighten properly.Pin-Lock patterns on this security nut are randomized. Ordering in multiple quantities may result in mixed key combinations.
