Norglass Flattening Agent

A fine silica powder designed to absorb the gloss of Norglass paint films converting them into a satin finish. 

Addition rate of 100g for 4 litres of paint, 25g for 1 litre. More or less can be added to achieve the desired gloss level.

Available in 25g, 100g & 250g.

How to use Norglass Flattening Agent

PREPARATION:

Because flattening agent is so light care should be taken when opening the container.

Do not add the product in areas of strong air movement as considerable volume could be lost in the atmosphere.

If being used in Northane:

• Pour the stated amount into the base can of paint.
• Pour in gently and reseal the lid tightly.
• Shake the can vigorously for 30 seconds to wet the flattening agent out.
• Remove the lid and stir in thoroughly with a paint stirring blade until the Flattening Agent is dispersed.
• Add in the hardener and stir again.
• Strain before the use.

On single pack paints like Weatherfast:

• Pour out 50% of the contents into another container.
• Pour in the flattening agent carefully into the original can and seal the lid tightly.
• Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
• Stir thoroughly with a stirring blade attachment and add back in the residue.
• Stir again to mix the whole contents.
