This sinkable rope is a robust and reliable solution ideal for commercial fishing pots and traps. Constructed from a 35% polypropylene and 65% polyester blend, it offers the strength of polyester and the resilience of polypropylene. With a specific gravity of -1.1, it sinks to reduce the risk of entanglement with passing boats. Manufactured to Australian Standard AS4142.2-1993, this rope delivers consistent performance in marine conditions.

Note: 3 strand polyester/polypropylene braided rope will stiffen over time when used in saltwater. For pre-installation and seasonal maintenance, we recommend soaking the rope in a bucket of fresh water and fabric softener overnight. This helps condition new rope and clean older rope of salt and debris, increasing longevity and minimising hardening.
