Optimus Electric Steering Actuator
NEXT GENERATION ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING
The Optimus Electric Steering Actuator mounts directly on the outboard in place of the existing hydraulic cylinder. The powerful drive train, position sensor, brake, and electronics are fully embedded within the actuator, eliminating the need for a Pump Control Module, hydraulic pump, hoses, cylinders, and steering fluid.
This system represents the first complete bolt-on electronic steering solution for outboard engines, compatible with single, twin, triple, and quad engine configurations from 150 horsepower and above.
The integrated electro-mechanical actuator combines steering control, power source, and transmission into a single unit, marking a major advancement in marine steering technology. It is also compatible with advanced systems including autopilot integration, joystick control, and GPS anchoring functionality.
